Tongue-in-cheek pangram
A pangram is a phrase that uses all the letters in an alphabet. A perfect one wouldn't double any of the letters, but it's just about impossible to do that in English while still making sense.

Updating!
I've been rather lazy in the last month with updating. At first it was the end of last quarter--I thought I'd update over the break--but now it's the second week of Spring Quarter, and my pics of graffiti and urban art on campus gets larger. Gonna run at it in the next few days.
In the mean time, check out the new In The News tab above, and let me know of articles I haven't found yet (there are bound to be some).
Enjoy!

Triangle-and-Dot sayings, Part 3
Triangle and Dots posted up a ton of stickers. Many were on "Hello, My name is..." stickers, and were unnumbered; and a series of 13 were on postal stickers. I've been hunting between classes, and if I find more (or have any submitted to me), I'll update this post.

Fortune cookies
A cool thing happened a few days ago, someone stashed a bunch of clay fortune cookies around campus, and they have actual fortunes in them. I opened one, and all the others I've found I've left untouched for others.

SeaMonstr stickers
North campus Stencilers
I had trouble figuring out what to call this series, but it is definitely a lot of postal stickers with stencil designs on them. I originally noticed one on the Mathes Hall sign, and shortly after noticed them all over north campus (and one South campus). The two designs are an astronaut / scuba diver, and the other looks like a seal or manatee or whale.

LZRMTN Interview
After seeing a few "sticker-stencils" bearing the name, LZRMTN, I was very curious on who may be creating and pasting these up. It wasn't long after that I was contacted by someone claiming to be from this "art collective," and we got to talking and interviewing. After you read this interview, you can check out their own blog.

SeaMonstr Interview
The first-ever interview with someone putting up "urban art" on campus. Find out more about the infamous character known as Cmonstr (Sea Monstr)! [You can find more of this character here]
[Cmonstr / Elekt on The Ridge]
Interviews wanted!
I am looking for any brave and willing (and somewhat trusting) graffitists, taggers, wheatpasters, stencilers, sticker-slappers, and any other variation of urban artist on campus, to answer a few questions--anonymously, if preferred. (Emails are great for that).

Replaced Bricks Tour
There are tons and tons of bricks on campus, a near innumerable amount--even though last year someone claimed to have counted them all--but if you happen to look down at the right moment between classes, you may just find a replaced brick.
It seems to be a long-standing tradition (if the dates on a few bricks are to be trusted), and most of them are tolerated and left alone. Of course, I have found a handful of them (really good ones, too), that have ended up going missing. Today, I finally made myself scan and survey as much as I could, and here is the trove of what I cataloged. All of these were photographed Jan. 8, unless noted differently. Sorry in advance for the length, as well as the orientation issues of some pictures.

Bow
Mid-way through last quarter, I was walking around campus between classes, and found a Dalek stencil just beneath the PAC. About a week later, my friends and I were in the library at night, and we'd never gone in the 80s-looking elevator, so we did. What we found was a Minotaur.
It wasn't until just recently that I figured that both were presumably made by the same artist. I now refer to this artist as Bow--so called because of the little black bow on or near the works I've seen.

Lzr Mtn
Lzr Mtn, or Lazer Mountain has been doing a lot of sticker / stencils on campus lately. Back at the beginning of December, I stumbled across two of his pieces on South campus. It seems as though the stencil was created on a computer or photographed, and then printed onto a really glossy paper / sticker.

Bird bricks
Found all of these out front of Miller Hall. Not sure if it was an official thing, or if a bunch of students stamped the bricks, but I like them.
Eyes
Started seeing these tags in chalk all over campus near the end of last quarter. The majority I've found are in chalk, with a few in marker. Also, they can be found on their own, or next to stickers and stencils--I'd assume as a signature.
